This is why “You probably don’t need OpenClaw” is not really a claim about feature parity. It is a claim about desire. Many people do not want OpenClaw because they have a clearly defined, high-value, long-running workflow that justifies an autonomous local agent with broad permissions. They want it because the existence of such a thing suggests the intolerable possibility that somebody else may have found a way to get something for almost nothing.
